Manitoba
There are twelve post-secondary institutes in Manitoba, eight public institutions, and four religious institutions, all have degree-granting authority with the exception of the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology. Only one of the 12 post-secondary institutes is a French-language institution. The majority of these institutions are situated in the provincial capital of Winnipeg with a wide range of programs from health professions, technology, and religion, to name a few. Many of these institutions also offer online programming extending their reach to as many students as possible.
The universities and colleges found in Manitoba are driven to create and preserve knowledge and continue to grow their cultural, social and economic well-being of the region though education. The passion and mission of the education culture in Manitoba is to educate all students and provide them with the proper tools and opportunities to better enable them to make a meaningful difference in their careers and communities.
