About Us
Who Are We:
The Canada International Education Consortium (CIE-Co) was established in 2013. It is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit Canadian organization, registered for promoting Canadian education across the globe. It is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada and is in the process of establishing its presence in all major countries.
We are a group of academicians have come together to provide a common platform for institutions in Canada, education agents who promote international education, international students aspiring for education in Canada and other institutions that want to work with Canadian institutions. Canada International Education is a network of professional educators, academicians, corporates and an eminent advisory panel for advancing ideas for greater success in the education sector.
The scenario now:
CIE-Co has recognized the emergence of a growing community of students worldwide in need of quality education that Canadian institutions can provide. Developing nations are bringing talented students up to the secondary level and many governments are willing to sponsor aspiring students for higher education abroad. These students can fulfill their dreams making use of the ready resources at Canadian Institutions. At the same time institutions in developing countries are looking for guidance and to collaborate with western institutions in various areas of research.
What we aim to do:
We are committed to providing a single platform for people on both the sides, Canadian institutions on the one side and aspiring students on the other. Similarly, we have institutions that want to collaborate with Canadian Universities and Canadian Universities that have the means to provide the support to growing institutions abroad.
The mentors of CIE-Co want to leverage their knowledge of market requirements, the demands of universities, student aspirations and the growing network of education consultants worldwide. This will bring everyone together in a synergistic fashion that will be a win-win situation for all concerned.
Road shows, seminars, webinars, education fairs, lectures, knowledge sharing events and so on are on the anvil. We believe we can bring about a substantial change in the quality and quantity of such exchanges between various parties resulting in higher student enrolment, the collaboration between institutions across borders and happy faces.
