Post-secondary education in Ontario is considered to have some of the top educational programs in the world. There are well over 500 universities and colleges combined across the province, providing a wide range of programs and degrees.

The vast majority of colleges and programs across Ontario are similar with much in common, there are a number of individual colleges who have established particular areas of specialization. There are a good diversity and range of programs offered within the higher education system of Ontario. Most universities in Ontario offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs, however, some tend to focus on undergraduate education only.
